Birth name is Pascal Wasan Ananda Keerthirathna. Referred to mostly as Keerthi Pasquel, he was born to a noble family in Kandy, the hill capital of Sri Lanka and was schooled at Dharmaraja College, Kandy.

Professional Career the start

A well-recognized artist in Sri Lanka, Keerthi’s stage name is Keerthi Pasquel. Since entering the music industry in the early 1970’s as a Bass Guitarist Keerthi has gone through the mills to achieve all he has achieved not to mention the love and hearts of millions of fans around the world. Playing Bass Guitar for the band “Galaxies” was Keerthi’s first assignment. Later he moved on to join the band “Fortunes” led by late Mr. Stanley Peiris. Keerthi is now the Leader of the band “Super Fortunes”.
